Adidas have launched a new range of cricket equipment for the 2009 season. The range starts with their cricket bat selection and includes other essential cricket equipment too.
The Adidas cricket bat range consists of three cricket bat shapes designed to suit a variety of cricketers and within these shapes there are cricket bat models to suit most budgets. Savings can be found from specialist cricket equipment retailers online.
The first of the Adidas cricket bat range is the Pellara. This cricket bat is endorsed by Kevin Pieterson. It has been designed for the cricketer who likes to get forward. With striking black, silver and yellow graphics the Pellara cricket bat is bound to get players noticed. The Pellara has a low long middle and unique scoops on the reverse of the cricket bat blade to help enhance the cricket bat’s pick up and performance. All Pellara senior cricket bats and top junior cricket bat models are crafted from quality English willow. Some of the Pellara junior cricket bat models are made using Kashmir willow for great value. The Pellara has a nine cane oval shaped handle. All
Adidas cricket bats are styled with Adidas cricket bat grips and cricket bat toe guards in colours to coordinate the range. The top of the range cricket bat is the
Pellara Elite, going down through the models to Pro, County and finally the non-oil, covered face Pellara Club within the senior Pellara cricket bats. The weight range for these senior cricket bats is between approximately 2lb 7oz and 2lb 10oz. Junior models available are the County Junior cricket bat made from English willow, available in sizes five, six and harrow. And then the Kashmir Junior and Kashmir County Junior cricket bats, made using Kashmir willow for excellent value and available in cricket bat sizes one up to harrow.
The second cricket bat shape in the
Adidas cricket equipment range is the Libro. A cricket bat designed with a classic profile and a feather-like pick up.
