Our Catch of the Month this month is our 2021 range of New Balance products.

Cricket Bats

  • New Balance’s latest range of cricket bats include models suitable for both Junior and Senior players. For example, the New Balance TC 560 cricket bat (£107.99 on our website) is a model specifically designed for junior players and endorsed by England Captain Joe Root. Available in 4 sizes, this bat aids junior players in developing their all-round strokes, balance and pick up, with large edges, mid-blade swell position and comes with a fitted toe guard.
  • From the Seniors range, the TC 860 cricket bat (£289.99) is available as a short handle model with a weight range from 2lb 9oz - 2lb 10oz. Like the Junior bat, it has large edges and a sweetspot, with a mid-blade swell position and fitted toe guard.

Also in the bat range you can pick up full length bat covers and bat grips, must haves for all cricketers to protect their bat and aid their grip.

Cricketers need as much protection as they can get and this current range of protective gear caters for all areas, for both senior and junior players.

  • The New Balance Lower Body Protector (£27.99) protects the lower thighs with a pre-curved moulded comfort fit, and an inner 18mm dual density Crosslink foam plastic sheet. Available in one standard size for seniors and two smaller sizes for juniors, it comes in both right and left hand versions. Junior lower body protector (£27.99)

Cricket Shoes

Cricket shoes come in different styles for different styles of play, so bowlers tend to wear a different type of shoe to batters, for example.

  • For those players who need a bowling shoe, the CK4040L4 bowling shoe (£109.99) provides enhanced protection and support for bowlers. With a fitted bootie construction and mid-foot support, as well as a recessed 11 spike outsole configuration, this shoe comes in a range of sizes and half sizes from 9-12.5. it is sized small so we’d recommend ordering a half or full size up than you usually wear.
  • For Junior players, the KC4020 UY cricket shoe (£34.99) is a great kids all-rounder for play on Astro-turf or hard wickets, as it has a very durable turf outsole. It has a full leather upper with mesh insert and an Acteva Lite midsole that gives extra cushioning. Also available in a Senior model, the CK4020 (£67.50)

Batting Gloves

  • The BURN range of batting gloves (£43.99) provide lightweight comfort and protection with sheep leather palms, 18mm Crosslink foam padding inners, side bar protection to the lead hand and PU finger rolls and inserts, with additional plastic inserts for the two lead fingers. Also available in junior sizes.
  • The BURN PLUS batting gloves (£59.99) have all the benefits of the original BURN gloves but also give players complete feel of the bat handle. In addition to all the benefits as above, they also have High Grade PU finger rolls and inserts, Premium sheep leather outers and a plastic shield on 2 panels of the lead fingers.
  • For gloves that give maximum protection, the TC Hybrid batting gloves (£63.99) are the ultimate offering – like the BURN gloves, they have sheep leather palms, extra protection for the lead fingers and side bar protection. They also have a 20mm Crosslink foam padding and are available for both right and left handed players in standard or large sizes.
